My favorite matching outfits so far!

I'm not sure if I should be proud or embarrassed of my chunky monkey!? HE'S HUGE!!! I guess it's just baby fat and he'll lose it someday just like Isaac did. I'm getting smaller so it's really just a transfer of weight!

This is Isaac's new trick... Jumping from the couch to daddy's back. This particular jump ended in tears (and a little bit of blood). He hit his mouth on Shaun's back! Ouch!

Parker James x 2? My good college friend, Mike, and his family came from Oregon to visit. They just had their third child in October and named him Parker James. We're now linked for life! Thanks for visiting!

My crazy Isaac... Always in character! Tonight he told me he doesn't have hands, he has bear claws!

More matchies! Isaac didn't want his picture taken with Parker so this was the best I could do. I cleaned out the closet under the stairs and made a clubhouse for Isaac. He wasn't accepting visitors at this time!

The Recliner

The favorite spot at my parent's house is their recliner. While we were there last week it was a fight for that spot. Usually the person holding Parker got it because he is so heavy and the recliner has great arm support! The boys and I enjoyed our visit, even with all the rain.

I recommend doing this with your toddler... It was so much fun! It totally made up for how annoyed I was at him for waking up at 6:15 (5:15 California time)!

Two Months

Parker's two month accomplishments:
Is beginning to interact with big brother
Smiles all the time
Is in 6 month clothes
Loves baths
Made it through his first road trip to AZ

Accomplishment mommy is most proud of:
He sleeps 7 to 8 hours at night before he is up for food

Accomplishment daddy is most proud of:
He toots and burps like a grown man

All about Isaac

I can't believe how much I love this kid! He is absolutely hilarious!!! As I have blogged before, everything is about Buzz Lightyear and Woody right now. I put him to bed last night at 8 and at 9:30 I heard him say, "Come in star command. This is Buzz Lightyear. I come in peace!" Then, there was a few seconds of silence and then I heard, "To infinity and beyond!" I think he might have been talking in his sleep. Poor guy can't watch Toy Story anymore. They use the "S" words... My child will not be saying "shut up" and "stupid." It's so sad that children's movies have to add language! I need to watch Toy Story 2 and see if that one is safe. In the meantime we bought him a set of Buzz and Woody books. He actually told me to turn the TV off so we could read! Oh Isaac, you are my pride and joy!

He has this new thing with wearing his shirts around his waist. Drives me nuts! Can you tell he didn't want his picture taken?

He loves firefighter helmets but can't seem to figure out how to put them on the right way!

I take that back... This helmet is facing the correct way! I think this is Uncle Manny's hat!?!

I ran upstairs to get something the other day and when I got back to my boys, Parker was crying and Isaac had the binkie in his mouth. He told me that Parker didn't want it! Sure kid!

All about Parker

Our Mr. Parker is 7 weeks and 3 days old! It's hard to believe he's almost 2 months! We love you little man!

Disneyland 2010

It's hard to believe 2010 is finally here! AND what better way to start a new year than by going to DISNEYLAND!?! Although, I do think that they need to change their slogan from "happiest place on earth" to "most crowded place on earth!" Long lines and a tired kid don't mesh very well! Isaac hadn't been to Disneyland since he was Parker's age so this was a completely different experience for him. He hated It's a Small World but loved the big roller coaster in Toon Town. Uncle Mike and Tati also drove in from Arizona to join us. Thanks for coming!

A must have picture!

First highlight: M-I-C-K-E-Y * M-O-U-S-E

Isaac was BEYOND thrilled to meet Mickey. All he could say was, "Hi Mickey Mouse. Hi Mickey Mouse!"

It may look like Isaac is trying to get away but he just didn't like being turned away from Mickey's face for a picture. He wanted to talk to him.

Second highlight: Buzz Lightyear. Isaac even got to take home a Buzz! Spoiled kid!

Poor Parker is getting shafted in the picture department. Here he is passed out in the truck as we were getting ready to leave. He slept most of the time we were there so he was good and ready to scream the whole way home!
